REGINA – Today, the Sask. Party government announced it will not begin the Spring Sitting of the Legislature for another month, ignoring calls for an emergency session to develop and debate a plan to address two potential rounds of job-killing tariffs from United States President Donald Trump.

Saskatoon City Hospital is once again reducing ER hours as Saskatoon’s emergency capacity remains in crisis 

SASKATOON – As Saskatoon City Hospital’s emergency room sees further chaos due to the Sask. Party’s failed healthcare recruitment strategy, the Saskatchewan NDP called for immediate action to hire more doctors, reduce healthcare bureaucracy and add capacity to Saskatoon’s emergency rooms.

MARTENSVILLE – Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck says we should be buying more Saskatchewan-made steel, building more steel products here at home and creating more steel jobs to build up the industry. Her calls come in response to newly announced tariffs that could amount to 50 per cent on Canadian steel and aluminum.

SASKATOON – Following hours spent in a Saskatoon emergency room, Fran Forsberg was shocked at the current level of care and chaos in Saskatchewan healthcare. She joined Saskatchewan NDP Shadow Minister of Health Vicki Mowat to raise alarms, call for change and issue a blunt challenge to Premier Scott Moe and Health Minister Jeremy Cockrill.
