REGINA – Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck is calling for the provincial legislature to sit immediately in response to Donald Trump’s tariffs on Saskatchewan steel. Beck is also adding her voice to growing calls for retaliatory tariffs and a desperately needed pipeline running to Canada’s East Coast.

Sask. NDP calls for more educational assistants and funding for Saskatchewan classrooms 

SASKATOON – Today, Saskatchewan NDP Shadow Minister for Education Matt Love – along with several Sask. NDP MLAs – joined with parents and educators calling for the province to take responsibility for public education and fund more desperately needed educational assistants in light of Saskatoon Public School Board being forced to lay off 80 positions due to a lack of funding.

REGINA – Saskatchewan NDP MLAs were at the Legislature Monday ready to do the work and mount a united front against President Donald Trump’s 25 per cent tariff on Canadian exports. While the Sask. Party government has yet to recall the Legislature for an emergency session, Beck spoke directly to Saskatchewan people about the importance of a unified response.

Beck calls on Transport Canada to reverse decision that will cost Saskatchewan crop producers $770 million annually  

REGINA – The Saskatchewan NDP is joining the Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan (APAS) in opposing the Bunge-Viterra merger, warning it will hurt farmers and cost Saskatchewan jobs. The Official Opposition is also demanding the Sask. Party Government reverse its support for the harmful merger.
