NDP calls for consistent plan after care home residents have names drawn from hat for vaccination

REGINA - The Sask. Party government’s failure to plan ahead has been negatively affecting people since the pandemic began. Insufficient testing, slow contact tracing, the worst back to school plan in the country and now a chaotic and inconsistent vaccine roll out have left the people of this province worried and confused.

People deserve to know if their personal health records have been accessed 

SASKATOON - The recent serious security breach for Saskatchewan’s e-health records highlights the Sask Party government’s failure to keep people’s personal health information secure and private. The government has been slow to identify and acknowledge the breach publicly and appear not to be pursuing any more information on who was affected.

REGINA - Official Opposition Leader Ryan Meili today called on the Government to release previously withheld weekly COVID-19 modelling data and to commit to open and transparent information on hospitalizations, testing, and vaccine delivery. 

SASKATOON - NDP Environment Critic, Erika Ritchie, has written to Saskatchewan’s Information and Privacy Commission requesting an investigation into what appears to be a serious breach of privacy in the province’s hunting and angling licensing system.
