SHORT-STAFFED REGINA URGENT CARE CENTRE CUTTING HOURS

REGINA – The Sask. Party government is cutting hours at the Regina Urgent Care Centre
On Saturday, June 14, the UCC will close even earlier than normal — running from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. instead of its current reduced hours of 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The facility was promised as a 24/7 urgent care centre but has yet to be fully staffed.
“The Sask. Party government cut the health budget and we’re now seeing the fallout,” said Jared Clarke, Saskatchewan NDP Shadow Minister for Rural and Remote Health.
“The Sask. Party says it’s building more urgent care centres, but it can’t even staff the centre that is already open.”
The Saskatchewan NDP is calling on the Sask. Party to reverse its cuts to the healthcare budget and open the Urgent Care Centre 24/7, as promised before the election.
