SASK. PARTY GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED OVER QUEEN OF CANADA RESPONSE

REGINA – The Saskatchewan NDP is calling on the Sask. Party government to commit to a major, multi-agency review in response to widespread failures to act quickly against the occupation of a Saskatchewan school by the so-called “Queen of Canada” and her followers.

The cult terrorized the community of Richmound for two years until police finally raided their headquarters late last week, seizing 13 imitation semi-automatic handguns, ammunition and a large number of electronic devices.
Romana Didulo appeared in court on Monday and was released on bail.
“This is someone who threatened to kill public officials and terrorized an entire community for two years,” said Brittney Senger, Saskatchewan NDP Shadow Minister for Ethics and Democracy. “People in Richmound  – and every community for that matter – deserve to feel safe in their homes and businesses. They deserve answers and accountability from their government. We need to make sure this never happens again.”
The so-called Queen of Canada will remain in Regina during court proceedings. On Monday, dozens of supporters in white hats showed up at the courthouse in Swift Current. Didulo called on her supporters to “secure the royal puppies and the funds. You know who to get ahold of. ... You know they have no jurisdiction ... Zero.”
Senger said she was speaking out publicly on behalf of so many Saskatchewan people who have openly questioned why this cult was allowed to operate and hatch dangerous plots for years in a school.
“I have a lot of questions,” said Senger. “Where has the Sask. Party or the local MLA Doug Steele been on this issue? Where were the Marshals? Why did it take so long for the SHA to step in? Why has this been allowed to happen?”
“Since October the cult has been dumping raw sewage into the nearby park after the village cut off sewer to the school back. Where was the Saskatchewan Health Authority?”
“This can never happen again. The people of Saskatchewan deserve a future where they feel safe in their homes and their communities.”
