Yesterday, the Premier said he could have acted “possibly a week sooner” on stronger measures to protect people from COVID-19. SASKATOON - Today, Official Opposition Health Critic Vicki Mowat called on the province to release all recommendations that informed the Premier and Health Minister’s decision to scrap all public health measures in July and to create a transparent public reporting system on advice given by Saskatchewan’s Chief Medical Health Officer moving forward.
REGINA - Today, NDP Critic for Highways, Infrastructure, and Transportation Trent Wotherspoon called on the provincial government to stop leaving federal dollars on the table and act to improve options for transportation in communities left isolated by Sask. Party’s cancellation of STC and the end of Greyhound bus services.

It’s unacceptable.
REGINA - In light of last week’s high test positivity rate among youth in Saskatchewan and hundreds of Saskatchewan schools impacted by COVID-19 cases across the province, Official Opposition Education Critic Carla Beck called on the province to proactively create a plan to rollout vaccinations to kids aged 5-11 in advance of their approval and to create a pre-registration program to accelerate the rollout.
