Sask. Party mismanaging Regina Bypass instead of investing in Saskatchewan highways and safety
In releasing her report today, Saskatchewan’s Auditor found that the consequences of the Sask. Party’s mismanagement, scandal, and waste at the Regina Bypass have gone beyond the shocking increase in cost from $400 million to $2 billion. She also revealed that the Sask. Surgery wait times continue to trend in wrong direction
Despite continued promises from the Sask. Party, surgery wait times in Saskatchewan have been getting longer, and as a result of the recent Sask. Party budget, health regions have warned that they will only get longer.

Party has hidden behind a broken promise – that provides no comfort to the many who are still waiting.”

Saskatchewan New Democrats have long made the case for a fair deal for our province with respect to equalization. We'll always stand up for Saskatchewan. The fact is it was this Sask. Party Premier that dropped the lawsuit and gave up the fight on this matter.
And, of course, we are focused on fighting the Sask. Party's callous cuts, unfair tax hikes, and desperate sell-offs, and we will continue to fight for Saskatchewan families and our province.
Sask. Party STC sell-off hurts Saskatchewan families
The Sask. Party's decision to break their promise and scrap the STC has left Saskatchewan students, families, and seniors stranded without transportation, including to school and medical appointments.
“This truly is a sad day for Saskatchewan,” said NDP Leader Trent Wotherspoon. “It’s a sad day for the families and businesses that depend on this essential service and it’s especially a sad day for the 224 people who are out of work because of this wrong-headed decision by the Sask. Party.”
