CARLA BECK TELLS PRINCE ALBERT SUPPORTERS SHE’S FOCUSED ON ‘BUILDING OUR COUNTRY’

Saskatchewan NDP Leader Accuses Scott Moe, Sask. Party Of Pandering To Separatists & Trump As They Threaten To Break Up Canada
PRINCE ALBERT – Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck told supporters gathered in Prince Albert Tuesday night that the city and region deserves a better government that’s focused on the future, on what matters to them.
“That’s exactly what the Saskatchewan NDP will deliver,” Beck said. “It’s time to build our economy — more rail lines, more pipelines and more powerlines — from Canadian coast to Canadian coast.
Building our country is how we fund schools, hospitals, services people rely on and make life more affordable for families.”
Beck said Scott Moe and the Sask. Party are only focused on holding onto power and pandering to those who keep them there.
She said they have failed Prince Albert repeatedly, doing nothing to address severe crime — rates in the city are among the highest in Canada — lower the cost of living or to get Saskatchewan healthcare and education out of last place in the nation.
“Scott Moe and the Sask. Party pander to Trump and they pander to separatists,” Beck said. “They aren’t focused on what matters to the people living here in Prince Albert, or anywhere in the province for that matter.
“Well, it’s been 18 years of that, and I say enough is enough. We don’t need a government dragging us backwards.
“I say it’s time to move forward.”
Beck’s address came during a joint Annual General Meeting held by the Saskatchewan NDP ridings of Prince Albert Northcote, Prince Albert Carlton, Batoche, and Saskatchewan Rivers.
