REGINA – With a federal election right around the corner, the Saskatchewan NDP is calling on all federal party leaders to commit to cancelling the Bunge-Viterra merger and demanding Premier Scott Moe correct recent comments in which he said he doesn’t oppose the merger, which will cost Saskatchewan producers $770 million annually.

SASKATOON – Carla Beck and the Saskatchewan NDP are launching an interactive campaign encouraging people to “Shop Local, Shop Sask.” as Donald Trump is just days away from hammering the Canadian economy with 25 per cent tariffs.  

PRINCE ALBERT – Saskatchewan NDP Shadow Ministers are touring northern Saskatchewan to hear from northern residents and ensure they are represented when the Legislature reopens late on March 19. The tour will specifically focus on how to make life more affordable and on building a bright future for all people living in Saskatchewan’s North.

Today, Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck called on provincial and federal governments to support massive new investments to get Saskatchewan’s world-class exports to new markets and make our economy less vulnerable to potential U.S. tariffs.
