Stakeholder Relations Officer III

Position Title: Stakeholder Relations Officer III (In-Scope Term, 12-Month Maternity Leave), Saskatchewan NDP Caucus

Full Time: Commencing Mid-August, 2026

Hours of Work: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Salary: As per Collective Agreement COPE 397

Position Manager: Director of Tour & Stakeholder Relations

This is a full-time position based in Regina at the Legislative Building. Main duties will include: assisting the Leader and the Official Opposition Caucus in the development of relationships with external stakeholders, including officials in other levels of government, organized labour, private sector and industry associations, and civil society groups.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implementing stakeholder relations strategies for the Leader and Official Opposition Caucus.
  • Work with Members of the Official Opposition Caucus to develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies, including policy consultation and development strategies.
  • Create briefing materials to support the outreach work of the Leader and the Official Opposition Caucus.
  • Attend meetings with stakeholders, the Leader, and Members of the Official Opposition Caucus.
  • Receive, compile, track, and advise on feedback received from stakeholders on issues related to policy and politics.
  • Other duties as required.

Necessary Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder relations;
  • Excellent relational skills for diverse situations and people;
  • Excellent work planning skills, including the ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, be flexible, and work with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent project management skills, with demonstrated ability to lead projects and use technology to manage information, set targets, and track progress;
  • Demonstrated ability to create reports and briefing materials;
  • A solid understanding of the range of community groups, associations, and civil society throughout Saskatchewan;
  • Strong written and oral communications skills;
  • Interest in, and knowledge of, Saskatchewan politics;
  • Relevant undergraduate education in public administration, social science, or humanities;
  • Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license;
  • Membership in good standing with, and active involvement in, the Saskatchewan New Democratic Party.
