BECK CALLS FOR EMERGENCY LEGISLATURE SITTING TO ADDRESS TRADE WAR

Beck reiterates urgent need for mass expansion of rail lines, pipelines and powerlines to connect Canada, access new trade markets 

REGINA – As Donald Trump imposed devastating tariffs on the Canadian economy, Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck stood with her colleagues outside the provincial legislature Tuesday and demanded an emergency sitting to address the trade war and develop a comprehensive response that will protect Saskatchewan workers, protect the economy and build for the future.

REGINA – With a federal election right around the corner, the Saskatchewan NDP is calling on all federal party leaders to commit to cancelling the Bunge-Viterra merger and demanding Premier Scott Moe correct recent comments in which he said he doesn’t oppose the merger, which will cost Saskatchewan producers $770 million annually.
