After 18 years of the Sask. Party, the province is in decline.

For the first time in years, Saskatchewan’s population is declining – and young people are at the centre of that story.

Young people are the future of this province. Yet too many are leaving because the Sask Party has failed to create good jobs, reduce taxes and address the sky-rocketing cost of living. Young people don’t see a future here that works for them.

Saskatchewan has a diverse economy with enormous potential. With the right choices, we could be attracting and retaining our future leaders. But the Moe government has failed to create a plan that supports young people with good paying jobs and real opportunities to build a life here.

Saskatchewan NDP MLAs Noor Burki and Tajinder Grewal are determined to turn things around and keep our kids home but they need your ideas.

Over the coming months, they’ll meet with community leaders, young professionals, students, and labour groups to find real solutions and big bold changes that will restore the dream of learning, living, and working in this province.

Parents are tired of gifting luggage as grad gifts. Young people are tired of flying home for the holidays, and grandkids want grandparents to live across the street instead of across the country.

Keeping youth in Saskatchewan means keeping families together. We owe it to our parents, and our children to make Saskatchewan a strong economy where people can be united, not divided.
