Carla Beck’s Team Calls For Transparency
SASKATOON – Carla Beck’s team is demanding a full release of government documents behind school capital decisions in Scott Moe’s bad news budget as her team has discovered 103 Saskatchewan communities had a school in worse shape than those in Moe’s hometown of Shellbrook.

On Wednesday, Moe announced a new school for Shellbrook.

The following communities have a school in worse shape and no new or ongoing projects, according to the government’s own school capital planning reports:

“Tell me again this isn’t about the Premier playing favourites with his friends and neighbours,” Beck said. “There are so many schools — more than 200 — in worse shape than those in Scott Moe’s backyard. This decision stinks.

“If there really is nothing to hide, I call on Scott Moe to publicly release all government documents behind the school capital decisions in this bad news budget. 

“People deserve transparency, they deserve a Premier that will represent all Saskatchewan people. It’s time for change.”
