Nicole Rancourt was elected in 2016 and serves as the MLA for the constituency of Prince Albert Northcote.
Nicole has a Business Administration Certificate from SIAST and a Bachelor Degree in Social Work from the University of Regina. Before entering politics, Nicole was a registered Social Worker and worked at Prince Albert Mental Health Outpatient for the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region.
In 2008, Nicole was awarded the Rebel With A Cause award from the Elizabeth Fry Society for the work she has done with incarcerated women.
Nicole is a passionate volunteer. She is a member of the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers, and is actively involved in her local association. She is the past Chairperson of the Citizen’s Advisory Committee for Saskatchewan Penitentiary and Prince Albert Parole. She is a member of the Prince Albert Council of Women.
Nicole has a son and daughter, a step-son and step-daughter, and four grandsons. She and her partner are shareholders and season ticket holders for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, season ticket holders for the Prince Albert Raiders, play slo-pitch on local teams, and are strong supporters of local sports and the arts.
