EVIDENCE OF POSSIBLE THIRD LUXURY PRIVATE JET FLIGHT PROMPTS CARLA BECK’S TEAM TO RE-UP CALL FOR KEVIN WEEDMARK TO RELEASE THE RECEIPTS

Carla Beck’s Team Questions How Many Times He’s Done This

REGINA – Carla Beck’s Team is asking if high-flying, wining and dining Sask. Party MLA Kevin Weedmark took a third luxury jet trip in June 2025, this time for the sole purpose of rubbing elbows with Prime Minister Mark Carney and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith.

Flight records show that Weedmark’s preferred luxury jet flew from Moosomin to Saskatoon at 3:45 p.m. on June 1, 2025. It left Saskatoon and returned to Moosomin at 8:35 p.m. that same day. The flight followed an identical path as Weedmark’s other luxury jet trips, with the plane originating in Virden, Manitoba. On that same day, Weedmark posted several photos attending the reception with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and Prime Minister Mark Carney at a Canada First Ministers reception that took place the day before the actual meeting occurred.

Weedmark attempted to insist Monday morning that he drove that day.

“Prove it,” said Meara Conway, Shadow Health Minister. “We will not be giving Kevin Weedmark the benefit of the doubt: we are calling on him to release every receipt for all the times he utilized a luxury private jet to travel for government work.

“How long has he been doing this?” Conway added. “How many jet trips have their been total? Why is he hiding behind written statements and why won’t he release the receipts?

“This evidence strongly suggests a possible third flight and in the information void created by Weedmark leaves people to fill in the blanks. What is he hiding? Did Kevin Weedmark really fly to Saskatoon to shake a few hands and get a few photos for his Facebook page? Why won’t he provide receipts of the trips documented on his staff person’s TikTok?”

Last week, Carla Beck and Conway sent letters to both Scott Moe and Kevin Weedmark demanding they show the receipts for two previous luxury jet trips. Weedmark travelled on the jet to government events despite not being a Cabinet Minister and despite other Sask. Party representatives being at the events. He also used the plane to drop off a staffer of his in Regina at one point — it’s not clear if she’s a staffer at the newspaper he owns, or his constituency office, or both.

To date neither Weedmark nor Moe has responded to the widespread calls from thousands of Saskatchewan people to show the receipts. Only statements have been issued, no interviews have been granted and detailed media questions have been ignored.

“Saskatchewan people don’t need an MLA who’s focused on private plane rides, decadent meals and selfies with Danielle Smith,” Conway said. “They need someone who will fight to fix their healthcare, cut their costs, and make their lives better.

“It's clear that Weedmark is not going to be that MLA, and the Sask. Party isn’t going to be that government. It’s time for change.”
