- Served on a committee to increase youth employment; in the following five years 14,600 youth left Saskatchewan and the youth employment figures plummeted by l5%. (Statistics Canada)

- Assisted one of the Ministers who was convicted of fraud. Brad Wall testified on his behalf and the Minister was sentenced to two years in jail (Saskatoon's The StarPheonix, January 30, 1997)
